Sam-I-am keeps trying to convince his friend that green eggs and ham are tasty and he should try them. He follows his friend everywhere asking him all the time: “Would you like them…” – in a house, with a mouse, in a box, with a fox, with a goat, on a boat – Sam’s friend is always running away angry, saying “I do not like them Sam-I-Am”.
